1) Cinematography. Vito getting shot from the crane shot and the take the cannoli car in the fields scene are beautiful shots. 2) More action. Horse in the bed, Sonny getting shot, five family heads taken down etc. 3) Better dialogue. Man who does not spend time with his family etc 4) Marlon Brando as Vito. 5) Part I can stand alone as a film.
