I read Frankenstein many years ago and remember being surprised that Frankenstein's monster wasn't some murderous beast/zombie, but was at times sweet and articulate. He was troubled, but mostly because his creator had abandoned him and the world had treated him so terribly.
Are there any movies that portray the novel in this way? I would really love to see a film that is more true to the original story line.
